C. Raymond (Ray) Keeton

Phoenix, Arizona

Ray Keeton established his business of consulting to the metal forming industry in 2002, with particular focus on companies in the field of ring rolling. He is an Affiliate Member of the Metalworking Consultant Group LL.

Prior to this Ray had been an Executive Vice President with Ovako Ajax, Inc. with responsibilities for ring manufacturing and technology, and was previously Vice President Manufacturing with the Edgewater Corporation. Edgewater was in the businesses of steel making, railroad wheel forging and industrial and aerospace ring rolling.

Before moving to the United States in the mid-1970’s Ray had been Managing Director of various subsidiaries in the Johnson & Firth Brown group including those involved in closed die forging and management services.  Earlier experience was with British Steel Corp., in closed die forging, management services and automobile spring manufacture.

Ray is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Forging Industry Association and chairman of the association’s Technical Committee.

Ray has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester (UK) and a Diploma in Advanced Management Sciences from the Universities of Aston and Birmingham (UK).
